About Dori

Dori Grassau is the author of Looking For Redbirds: 40 Days of Encouragement That We are Never Alone, a certified speaker through Proverbs 31 Ministries and has had her writings published in online devotionals.   Her writing has also been featured in Author Maureen Ryan Griffin’s book Spinning Words into Gold. She has recently expanded her love for writing and encouraging others into a Life & Mindset coaching business to help women get through tough roadblocks so that they can begin to live the life of their dreams.

She was born and raised in Nebraska but has lived in Charlotte, NC for over 20 years.  After raising three children she is now married to her first love. Her hearts’ desire has always been to share her belief that God is always with us, even through our greatest struggles in life, whether that be loneliness, divorce, insecurities,  financial struggles or just that basic soul-sapping feeling of being “stuck in a rut” etc.

Welcome to my blog. It’s hard to believe I started this blog back in 2012 and I hope it has continued to encourage those of you who have read my entries! Over the years I’ve accumulated a lot of thoughts and heartfelt writings with the ultimate goal of turning them into a book. Looking for Redbirds is the result and I couldn’t be happier. It’s available to order on Amazon Prime.

Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. Psalm 139:7-10 (NIV)
